EASY PESTO PASTA
Pesto fans, great news! This quick and tasty recipe combines pesto and garlic for a deliciously creamy dish. Serve as a side or add protein for a complete meal. Perfect for entertaining guests with its rich flavor. Bon appétit!
INGREDIENTS:
10 oz pasta of your choice
2 Tbsp Joy’s Gourmet Original Garlic Spread
2 Tbsp Joy’s Gourmet Basil Pesto and Garlic
2 Tbsp reserved pasta water
4 Tbsp parmesan cheese, grated
2 Tbsp Joy’s Gourmet EVOO
2 Tbsp of roasted pine nuts
Freshly ground cracked pepper, to taste
Pine nuts, roasted
DIRECTIONS:
1. Cook pasta according to directions for al dente, drain, and transfer to a large mixing bowl.
2. Mix in the garlic spread, EVOO, and pesto.
3. Add reserved pasta water and toss lightly.
4. Fold in the parmesan cheese.
5. Plate and garnish with cracked pepper and roasted pine nuts
VARIATIONS: Add lamb, chicken, or shrimp as a protein to make it a full meal.
