Easy, cheesy, garlicky slow-cooker Zucchini Lasagna

Here's Your Recipe:
2 large zucchini
1 Tbsp salt
3/4 jar JOY'S Garlic Joy Marinara Sauce...
1 lb lean ground beef or turkey (can be omitted for a meatless option)
16 oz ricotta or cottage cheese
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1 egg
2 Tbsp JOY'S Garlic Joy Original Garlic Spread
1 tsp Mediterranean Spice Mix
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Slice zucchini thinly lengthwise (use a mandolin slicer if available). Place in a colander and sprinkle with salt, and set aside to drain. Brown ground beef or turkey, add Marinara Sauce and set aside. In a separate bowl, mix together ricotta or cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, 2 Tbsp Garlic Spread, and Mediterranean Spices, and set aside. Lightly oil the bowl of your slow cooker. Pour in 1/3 of the meat sauce, then add one layer of zucchini slices, topped with half of cheese mixture, and sprinkle with 1/3 cup of mozzarella cheese. Layer another 1/3 of meat sauce, zucchini slices, the remainder of cheese mixture, and 1/3 cup of mozzarella. Finish with remaining zucchini slices, meat sauce, and mozzarella. Set slow cooker to low, cover and cook for 4-5 hours. Serve with toast topped with more Garlic Joy Garlic Spread, and enJOY! 😋 Makes 6-8 servings
