- 1 Jar JOY’s Gourmet Olive Tapenade (or Original)
- 3 Large vine ripened tomatoes
- 1 1/2 lb Fresh Mozzarella cheese
- Fresh Basil
- 1/4 Cup Olive oil
- 2 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
- Fresh Asparagus (optional)
- Freshly ground pepper flakes
Slice the tomatoes in quarter inch thick slices. Spread the JOY’s Gourmet Garlic on each slice and begin layering by adding the sliced Mozzarella, Asparagus and Basil leafs. Repeat three times. Combine 2 tablespoons of JOY’s Garlic with ¼ cup of olive oil in a mixing bowl. Whisk the mixture vigorously and drizzle on top of the tomato. Drizzle the Balsamic vinegar then sprinkle with freshly chopped basil leafs.
Serve cold or at room temperature.
