Lamb chops are quite easy to cook contrary to popular belief, and this recipe is proof! It takes under 10 minutes to cook and the combination of garlic and Mediterranean spices pairs nicely with the rich flavors in lamb. We know you will enjoy this tasty and easy dish.

INGREDIENTS:

8 lamb chops
4 oz Joy’s Gourmet Original Garlic Spread
2 Tbsp Joy’s Mediterranean Spice Mix
1 Tbsp Joy’s Gourmet Garlic Infused EVOO
1 cup red wine vinegar
Salt to taste
4 Tbsp unsalted butter
Parsley for garnish, minced

DIRECTIONS:                 

  1. Combine lamb chops and vinegar in a Ziplock® bag.

  2. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

  3. Remove lamb chops from refrigerator, toss out marinade, pat lamb chops dry with paper towel.

  4. Cover lamb chops with garlic spread and encrust with the spice mix.

  5. In a hot cast iron skillet, add a swirl of Joy’s Gourmet Garlic Infused EVOO and the wine.

  6. Cook the lamb chops for 3 minutes on one side.

  7. Flip over the lamb chops, spoon the butter over the chops and cook continuously for 3 minutes on the second side for medium rare. *

  8. Plate, then spoon a little of the sauce from the pan over the lamp chops.

  9. Garnish with minced parsley if desired (optional).
